Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound sirloin or ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente (about 8 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the seasoned steak for about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms and bell pepper until softened (4-5 minutes). Add minced garlic and cook briefly.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; whisk in flour to create a roux. Gradually add heavy cream, stirring until smooth. Blend in cream cheese and provolone until melted.
  5. Combine cooked fettuccine with steak and half the sautéed veggies in a large bowl. Pour sauce over and toss to coat.
  6. Serve topped with remaining vegetables.
