  • 2 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip
  • 1 (21 oz) can lemon pie filling
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 TBS all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a Ziploc bag, crush pretzels into fine crumbs. In a bowl, combine them with brown sugar, flour, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Press this mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Bake for about 10 minutes until lightly browned; allow to cool completely.
  4. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth, then fold in Cool Whip. Spread this over the cooled crust.
  5. Top with lemon pie filling and sprinkle reserved pretzel crumbs on top.
  6. Chill for at least two hours before serving.
