Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In a separate bowl, combine pumpkin puree, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Stir into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips.
- Turn the dough onto the baking sheet and form an 8-inch round disc about 1 inch thick. Cut into 8 wedges.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
