- ¼ cup cold buttermilk
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree and buttermilk; add to dry ingredients and stir gently until combined.
- Turn dough onto floured surface and knead lightly; shape into an 8-inch round about 1 inch thick.
- Cut into 8 wedges and transfer to the baking sheet.
