- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss beef cubes with flour, salt, and pepper until coated.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet; sear beef in batches until browned. Transfer to a slow cooker.
- In the same skillet, sauté onion until softened, then add garlic and cook briefly before transferring to the slow cooker.
- Add carrots, mushrooms, ale, broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and bay leaf to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until beef is tender.
- Discard bay leaf before serving; garnish with fresh parsley.
